2017 Conference Awards

Congratulations to Bert Goliath from the Town of Rocky Mountain House, who was the winner of the conference close out draw prize of $300.00. In an act of generosity, Bert chose to donate his winnings to the City of Lethbridge worker who was injured in a motor vehicle collision en-route from the Alberta Cities Safety Council meeting on December 5. RUSA has also matched Bert's donation, so we are proud to have presented the City with a donation of $600 to help our member in a time of need.

New Partnerships & New Directors

We are proud to announce that the Association is now a Partner in Injury Reduction, in recognition of RUSA's commitment to raising the standards of worker health and safety in Alberta. Thank you to Partnerships and Alberta Labour for the honour.

Congratulations also to RUSA member Sean Sheedy who was nominated to be our Zone 4 Director!
